Oasis lead guitarist Noel Gallagher figured he had been stabbed after being attacked on stage in Canada.
The Oasis song writer - who suffered broken ribs after being rushed at by a stage invader at Canada's V Festival earlier this month - admits he initially thought the acttack was way more serious.
Noe' said: "Because it had been raining and there were puddles around I thought I'd been stabbed. For a split second I spat it."
The guitarist's brother, 'Mad Fer It' Liam Gallagher, also believed his brother had been more severely injured - and vowed a repeat incident will never be allowed to happen.
He said: "I thought Noel had been stabbed. It was dark, but it could have been a lot worse, that's the way I look at it. The guy's going to get dealt with.
Noel also admited to snorting cocaine in the Queen's loo:
The musician has confessed to snorting the Class A drug at 10 Downing Street when he was invited to a reception by then Prime Minister Tony Blair shortly after he came into power in 1997.
The lavatory, at the British Prime Minister's residence, is reserved exclusively for the ruling monarch, and no one else has permission to enter and take a dump.
Noel told Russell Brand on his British radio show: "As I remember, it was quite nice. It had a velvet seat and everything.

Noel Gallagher reflects on Be Here Now
Mr Oasis reflects once more on the Great Rock and Roll Swindle.
Here's an article that Stop Crying Your Heart Out found.
Noel Gallagher regrets jetting off to write much-criticised Oasis album Be Here Now with celebrity pals Johnny Depp, Sir Mick Jagger and Kate Moss - because he came back with a dud.
The rocker decided to write and record the demo for the album on the Caribbean island of Mustique, while hanging out with his superstar pals - but he admits it was a big mistake.
He tells the new issue of America's Spin magazine, "I was doing it for the wrong reasons. And that’s how you get a situation where at the beginning of (Be Here Now single) D’You Know What I Mean? there’s no music for the first minute. It’s the sound of an airplane landing.
"Of course, we thought it was the most amazing thing we’d ever recorded. We took the tapes back to Sony in London, and you’ve got all the suits sitting round the boardroom stereo thinking, 'These fucking jokers are riding on the biggest expectations of any band this decade, and they have recorded a plane landing.'"
Oasis star Noel Gallagher has revealed the band's first three albums were all written while he under the influence of hard drugs.
The rocker admits he penned classics like Wonderwall, Supersonic and Live Forever after snorting cocaine.
He tells the upcoming issue of Spin magazine, "Before 1997, I hadn’t written a song without the aid of the old Colombian marching gear (cocaine). Don’t forget, I was on drugs before I was even in a band. The whole of the first three albums were written on drugs.
"I remember being off my nut and going into the back room and setting the goal of writing a song in 10 minutes - that was Supersonic.
"All those albums and all the B-sides were written on drugs. That’s why they’re so good. And that p**ses me off.
"I think, 'Maybe I should get back into taking drugs, and then it would be brilliant again.' But that thought lasts less than a second.”

Noel Gallagher attacked live on stage in Toronto
Oasis singer and guitarist Noel Gallagher was assaulted on stage in Canada during a concert on Sunday night at the V Festival in Toronto
This Youtube video shows a crazed moron man running at Noel hard from the back of the stage and knocking him from behind into the crowd. Oasis was playing its hit song Morning Glory at the time so maybe the dude was chained to the mirror and the razor blade?
Gallagher fell heavily onto speakers. The unidentified attacker fell into a microphone stand as security staff rushed to grab him. At least he didn’t do a Damage Plan or Mark Chapman.
Liam Gallagher ran at the man and threw a punch, which failed to connect, before all three left the stage. Nice to see brothers looking out for one another, Liam’s reaction (and that of security) was pretty swift.
The band released a statement on www.oasisinet.com that Gallagher returned a few minutes later and Oasis completed its set.
Noel was taken to hospital after the gig where he was examined for a suspected rib fracture and ligament damage. The band’s statement did not note the results of the examination. Bless.
Here’s another angle of the Noel attack:

'The Shock of the Lightning' Oasis Lyric Dig Out Your Soul Album
'The Shock of the Lightning' Oasis Lyric Dig Out Your Soul Album
I'm all over my heart's desire,
I feel cold but I'm back in the fire,
Out of control but I'm tied up tight,
Come in, come out tonight..
Comin' up in the early morning,
I feel love in the shock of the lightning,
I fall into the blinding light,
Come in, come out, come in, come out tonight..
Love is a time machine,
Up on the silver screen,
It's all in my mind,
Love is a litany,
A magical mystery,
And all in good time, and all in good time,
And all in good time..
I got my feet on the street but I can't stop flyin',
My head is in the clouds but at least I'm tryin',
I'm out of control but I'm tied up tight,
Come in, come out tonight..
There's a hole in the ground into which I'm fallin',
So God's speed to the sound of the poundin',
I'm all into the blinding light,
Come in, come out, come in, come out tonight..
Love is a time machine,
Up on the silver screen,
It's all in my mind,
Love is a litany,
A magical mystery,
And all in good time, and all in good time,
And all in good time..
It's all in my mind,
Love is a time machine,
Up on the silver screen,
And all in good time, and all in good time,
And all in good time..
"The Shock of the Lightning" is a rock song by Oasis and is the fourth track from the band's seventh studio album Dig Out Your Soul.
The song will be released as the first single from the Dig Out Your Soul on 29 September 2008.
Noel Gallagher said of the song: "If ‘The Shock of the Lightning’ sounds instant and compelling to you, it’s because it was written dead fast. And recorded dead fast.
‘The Shock of the Lightning’ basically is the demo. And it has retained its energy. And there’s a lot to be said for that, I think. The first time you record something is always the best”.
Enjoy the Lyrics!
